The god of war, son of Zeus and Hera, who supposedly hated him. Homer calls him, "murderous, bloodstained, the incarnate curse of mortals, and a coward." His sister is Eris, which means discord, and strife. With her are terror, trembling, and panic. As they walk the voice of groaning rises behind them, and the earth streams forth with blood. The Romans liked Mars more than the Greeks liked Ares. Unlike Ares, Mars was worshiped greatly by the Romans. To them he was seen as "magnificent, in shinning armor, and invincible." The Romans rejoice when they see they are to “fall to Mars” they “rush on glorious death” and find it “sweet to die in battle.” The Greeks say vaguely that the god of war came from the city of Thrace, which is known as the home of fierce and rude people in Greece. His bird is the vulture and his animal is the dog.
on a power scale, he is second only to Zeus and Poseidon, he is very powerful an 8 out of 10 on power level.
He is also known to have a sister whose name is Eris which means discord and strife.
like Zeus has the lightning bolt and Posieden has a trident mars wields the spear.
Greeks hated Ares, to them he was seen as a murdering fiend but the Romans, unlike the Greeks, loved areas’ counter part mars, who aided them in their Great Wars.
In one story he is said to be the lover of Aphrodite. The Greeks say vaguely that the god of war came from the city of Thrace, which is known as the home of fierce and rude people in Greece.
Ares is merely a symbol of war, not a defined being such as Zeus or Apollo.
Greeks hate their version of this god, and he is also despised by his parents.
he is "murderous, bloodstained, the incarnate curse of mortals, and a coward.” According to the Greeks but ares counter part mars to the Romans is seen as “magnificent, in shinning armor, and invincible.”
Something that reminds me of this god is the Spartan. Though closely related to Greeks, who hated their form of the war god, Romans were excellent in battle, and raised their children, almost from birth, to be the most ultimate warriors. They too found security in the thought of dying in battle, just as the Romans did.

This is a voki of the roman god of war mars, given that to the Greeks he had no defined shape or personality he was not a human image (like most of the gods are) to them but instead just symbolized war in general. This voki speaks in Greek and says "i am mars the roman god of war"
